Last week Punta del Este hosted the J. Lauritzen Dragon Class Sailing Championship, won by a German team with a Danish team finishing second and a British team third. The photo is an aerial view of the race area, between Isla Gorriti and Playa Mansa, with the peninsula outlined in the background.
